Artist Statement
While 2020 has been a year of reflection for many, 2021 seems to be a year of transition. It is yet unclear where we are going, or when we will get there. My sentiments express themselves in images that lack an unambiguous statement; they are shrouded in uncertainty, maybe even mysteriousness. There is an ongoing tentativeness in our gatherings. Encountering others means staying at a distance, even outdoors. It still feels safest being alone. I choose to envelop myself in this diaphanous veil a while longer and somehow have learned to take delight in this transitory state.
