Exhibition Committee
At the outset, Blue Sky’s five founders jointly organized its exhibitions – a curatorial model which has remained largely intact for more than four decades.
Today, Blue Sky exhibitions are chosen by a volunteer Exhibition Committee comprised of more than twenty members of the organization. This curatorial methodology is in keeping with the democratic, participatory, and member-based mission of Blue Sky.
The Exhibition Committee meets twice a month to review submissions, as well as installs exhibitions prior to Saturday openings. It is open to new participants and encourages active membership.
