Photolucida Critical Mass Solo Show Award

Each year the Blue Sky Exhibitions Committee, in partnership with Photolucida, selects one artist from the Critical Mass Top 50 for a solo exhibition at the gallery. Critical Mass Solo Exhibitions usually happen in April.

En Foco Fellowship

Since 2017, Blue Sky has partnered with En Foco to increase the visibility of select En Foco Fellowship Awardees. Selected Awardees receive a solo exhibition at Blue Sky.

Blue Sky/Sitka Photography Residency

The Blue Sky/Sitka Center Photography Residency was created to increase Sitka’s visibility in the photography community through a collaboration with Blue Sky Gallery. Each year, Sitka offers 2 alumni of Blue Sky’s exhibitions and Pacific Northwest Drawers program the opportunity to be in residence at Sitka Center for up to a month. Residents are selected through a jury of Sitka Center and Blue Sky staff, along with a Blue Sky Residency alum.
