Blue Sky, Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a series of 12 themed online exhibitions. The twelfth and final exhibition, The Cat Show, pays homage to Blue Sky's 1976 group exhibition The Dog Show – with a feline twist.
Photographers and cats have at least one thing in common: they love light! Whether it’s posting up in their favorite sun spot or striking an iconic pose, cats love the spotlight. They deserve it. For The Cat Show open call, C. Meier, Blue Sky’s Exhibitions Director and cat enthusiast, is seeking your most purrrrrfect photographs to feature in this final comMEOWnity group exhibition. Show us your most clever, curious, and chaotic feline companions. From humorous snapshots to thoughtful fine art, all photographic approaches are welcome.
