No Strings

No Strings is a dedicated wall space within Blue Sky —located on the wall to the left of the Pacific Northwest Drawers— a non-juried exhibition opportunity in which we invite artists to showcase their photo-based artwork for a period of a week and a half.

Sign up via the calendar at the bottom of this page. Available dates appear within a highlighted light blue circle. Toggle to the next month to find more availability. Click on an available date, then select 12:00 PM, and finally, enter your name and email address. Click “Schedule Event.” You will receive a confirmation email.

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE SIGNING UP:

Install: Wednesdays (the listed date you sign up for) between the hours of 12pm - 4pm.

De-install: no later than the second Saturday following installation, between 12pm - 4pm.

• Artist must install and de-install their artwork. 

• Artist must bring their own tools, stools, and hanging hardware. 

• Any wall text, labels, and/or contact information for sales (optional) must be produced and printed by the Artist.

• Arrive prepared: artwork must be ready to hang upon arrival. Blue Sky cannot provide workspace for matting or framing, etc.

• Artist is responsible for remembering to come in to install and de-install artwork.

• Blue Sky cannot store work afterward. Artists must pick up artwork on time or it will be recycled.

• No commercial advertisements allowed. 

• No Strings is non-juried; therefore it may not be listed on your resume.

• Artist handles any sales; Blue Sky takes no commission and is not involved in transactions.

• Please be respectful of the gallery space and Blue Sky Staff. 

• Blue Sky reserves the right to deny participation in No Strings at our discretion.
