Artist Statement

When I entered the subway station in Beijing, I would get tight security examining via X-rays. Everyone’s daily information was exposed to the immoderate monitoring systems.I hoped to create more fun to the audience , making them aware of how we are being constantly monitored in everyday life. After a long period of communication with those subway staff, I finally got the chance to work with the subway security supervisors and created some interesting images with my suitcase and item of head models, screaming chickens and bananas to ridicule this over-monitoring system.
