Artist Statement

2020 represents a year of profound sadness, confusion, loneliness, animosity, and a fear of death for me.  At my age as a person with diabetes, and after watching several friends die in the past 3 years, this COVID frightens me.  I fear things will not be better in my lifetime and I am angry about it and the people who are making it worse.
I am currently living in Mexico and cannot visit my family in the US as we are in quarantine here. I am a bit obsessed with organizing my photographs right now into images that go together.

Artist Bio

I was born in 1951 and my family is from De Kalb, Illinois, although we lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for most of my childhood.  I have been
