Matthew Norman

Artist Bio

Matthew Norman lives in Portland, Oregon where he grew up. Matthew’s attention was captivated by the expressive power of grayscale photography while in school. He has practiced the medium for over 30 years; using both film and digital methods. Late in life, Matthew was diagnosed with ADHD. Expressive photography offers Matthew a means to share his reactions to the world and, for him, is a powerful channel for ADHD hyperfocus.
