Abstracts from the Everyday

These photographs combine a 21st century technology with a 19th century handcrafted process.

They are part of an ongoing series, they were captured with an iPhone and a simple app.

The photographs are printed on fine art paper with the cyanotype process. Cyanotypes are one of the earliest photographic processes dating back almost one hundred and eighty years.

These photos of everyday objects and places are viewed in an abstract sense, as referenced by the avant-garde Czech photographers from the first half of the 20th century.
