Ford Gilbreath

Artist Statement

It is a challenge to make art while a corrupt president is destroying our democratic form of government, abusing human rights, and eliminating environmental protections for our planet.  It seems self-indulgent to revel in the beauty of the natural world around us, but it helps.

Artist Bio

In 2018, Ford and Robyn moved with their two dogs to the Palouse area of eastern Washington, after having lived in Seattle for 40 years.  They are currently living in a wonderful farm house built in 1900, with outdoor space for the dogs to explore and night skies that never stop dazzling.  Ford began showing his photographs in the Pacific Northwest at the first Blue Sky Gallery exhibition in 1975, and is still making photographs today.
