Danielle Mericle’s Things that Happen consists of a series of videos that take a phenomenological approach to the contemporary landscape. These videos simply observe how we operate within our everyday reality. Meditative yet humorous, this work reveals the strange, coincidental, and beautiful happenings that occur in our seemingly banal and everyday world.

Alex Fradkin, Lisa Robinson and Danielle Mericle will present artist talks on Saturday, April 5th, at 3pm. The lecture is free of charge and open to the public. Blue Sky is open at its new location in the DeSoto Building, on the east side of the North Park Blocks between Davis and Couch, from noon to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
