Blue Sky Gallery, 1231 NW Hoyt, is proud to present a lecture and slide presentation by Portland photographer Lisa Gidley on Thursday, February 16 at 7:30 pm at Blue Sky Gallery. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Gidley will provide an overview of her work, some of which was recently exhibited at New Space. A former New York resident, she will focus on one series in particular, Station to Station, a project where she took a photograph within one square block of each of New York City's subway stations. The project stemmed from the realization that despite living in the city for seven years, she'd been to barely a quarter of its subway stops, so decided to create a portrait of the city, one station at a time.
