Blue Sky Gallery, 1231 NW Hoyt, is proud to present a lecture and slide presentation by visiting artists, Germán Herrera and Luis Delgado of San Francisco, California on Saturday, March 12 at 7:00 pm at Blue Sky Gallery. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Tuesday, March 15, Bruce Haley will lecture at 8 pm. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Germán Herrera's "Book of Mirrors" series mines the unconscious and the world of dreams by digitally combining various photographic elements into a delicate chiaroscuro. His gentle black and white images combine fantasy, geographic topographies, memory, and imagination hovering between abstract and narrative. He'll discuss his evolution as an artist and his process of merging photography with digital manipulation.

Twice shown at Blue Sky, Luis Delgado's work combines social and conceptual topics and themes and he'll discuss recent projects as well as his evolution as a photographer.

Bruce Haley is an internationally exhibited documentary photographer and photo journalist. His hard-hitting, edgy style exposes the grit, as well as the soul, of cultures and people.
