Blue Sky Gallery, 1231 NW Hoyt, is proud to present a lecture and slide presentation by Portland photographer Tamara Lischka on Thursday, September 9 at 7:30 pm at Blue Sky Gallery. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Trained in research biology, much of Lischka’s work reveals a fascination with the exploration of science against emotion--the sculptural places within a curled hand holding the lifeless body of a fish and the artistic as well as scientific questions images like this evoke. Lischka will lecture on her evolution as a photographer, as well as this current series. Her images will be on display at Pushdot Gallery the month of September.
