Artist
Blue Sky Gallery, 1231 NW Hoyt, is proud to present a lecture by Ford Gilbreath,
of Seattle, Washington, on Thursday, September 12 at 7:30 pm at Blue Sky.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Gilbreath will be showing and talking about his video,
Moon Root, which alternately presents telescopic views of the Moon,
and video images from under the ground made using a cystoscope.
The connection between the phases of the Moon and the planting of seeds,
as well as other old stories will be discussed.
Blue Sky established the Lecture Series in 1998 in an effort to
provide a forum for discussion and increased awareness of the diverse and
talented group of Northwest photographers. The 2nd Thursday of each month Blue
Sky will host a different speaker at the Gallery.
