Artist
Jessica Todd Harper uses her camera as a tool to explore and capture often
misunderstood and intangible emotions. Her personal color images are mostly
portraits that address the inherited constructions of femininity within
the specific culture of her own family. Photographs of herself, her sister,
and her cousin merge into a poignant coming of age story, reflecting the
irony and confusion that often accompanies the transition from youth to
adult.
