Kolar's 1993 book "Mala Strana" is a photographic essay on Prague's Mala Strana, and is an exploration of the magnificent architecture and history surrounding Prague. Kolar's beautifully constructed images reflect an old city that provided asylum to East German's in 1989, and that hides many secrets in its crumbling buildings and quiet cobbled streets.
