Artist
Luis Delgado's multi-paneled black and white grid pieces present a visual
analysis of the iconographic typology of human institutions,
such as the military, family, commerce, religion and law.
With his photography rooted in the social documentary tradition,
Delgado uses humor, symbolism and free association to produce visually engaging work
that allows for personal interpretation and relevance, as well as analysis within the
traditional aesthetic and symbolic confines of the subject.
